2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, requesting a quote, or making payment, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

3. Quotations

  • All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
  • Prices may change after this period.
  • A quotation does not constitute a binding contract until payment is received.

4. Pricing

  • Prices are provided in GBP unless otherwise stated.
  • Local delivery may be free where specified.
  • Other delivery costs are determined by CONTAINERS AURUS based on destination and logistics.
  • We reserve the right to amend pricing due to market fluctuations or errors.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is accepted via bank transfer only unless otherwise agreed.
  • Full payment must be received before dispatch or delivery.
  • Orders will not be processed until cleared funds are received.

6. Product Condition

New Containers

Sold as one-trip containers in excellent condition.

Used Containers

Sold in cargo-worthy or wind and watertight condition unless otherwise specified.
Used containers may show signs of wear, surface rust, or cosmetic imperfections.

All used containers are sold as seen, structurally sound and suitable for storage or transport.

7. Delivery

  • Delivery is arranged by CONTAINERS AURUS.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • The customer must ensure:
    • Adequate access for delivery vehicles
    • Suitable ground conditions
    • Necessary unloading equipment if required

If delivery cannot be completed due to site inaccessibility, additional charges may apply.

8. Transfer of Risk

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery at the agreed location.
Ownership transfers only after full payment has been received.

9. Cancellations

  • Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch and with written approval.
  • Administrative or logistical costs may be deducted.
  • Custom or modified containers cannot be cancelled once production begins.

10. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of the products, container sales are generally final unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Warranty

Warranty terms are governed separately under our Warranty Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

CONTAINERS AURUS shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of profits
  • Delays caused by third-party logistics or force majeure

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the container.

13. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Port delays
  • Transport disruptions
  • Government restrictions

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
